Wakefield Landscape Services was started in July of 1973 by Geoffrey
Wakefield and his son Peter. Starting as a two man, one truck
operation, the company soon established themselves as the only full
service, design, build and maintenance landscape service in
Montgomery County.

The company steadily grew and the nursery operation was started in
1977 and soon grew to cover the full 10 acres at our present location.

In 1991 Geoffrey stepped down as the president of Wakefield Landscape
Services and turned over full control to Peter Wakefield. In the
ensuing years three of the Wakefield sons, Christopher, Anthony, and
David have joined the firm, once again making it a family business.

Over the past 32 years Wakefield Landscaping Services has grown to
become one of the preeminent landscape service companies in the area.
We continue to provide innovative, unique design of the highest quality.
